| 1. | To work towards the development of local service available to individuals with Down Syndrome in the fields of health, psychology, education and social services |
| 2. | To provide direct and indirect support to individuals with Down Syndrome, their parents and their families |
| 3. | To promote public awareness of Down Syndrome in both the local and expatriate communities |
| 4. | To create an information centre to support research and studies of issues related to Down Syndrome |
| 5. | To identify and overcome obstacles in the education, rehabilitation and employment of youth with Down Syndrome |
| 6. | To reinforce relationships with professional bodies, national clubs and Schools for children with special needs |
